Well here it is almost Christmas, the year gone, and my did it go fast!  We promise ourselves we really are going to start grammar in January and finish the year strong or make up all those days we didn't mean to miss.  We are sure 2010 is the year we are finally going to get the garage cleaned up, or write the book (or in my case finish it!), or get the web site going, or stay in better touch with our family, or clean out the closets and bring all the clothes that don't fit to the thrift store, or organize all our papers, or start and end our day earlier, or plan our meals better, or (add your own right here__________________________). 

Okay, so I didn't give you enough space.  Here you go.   :)

But you know what?  While it is important to have a plan and be consistent, to train and discipline, to forge and grow, to manage our time and energy, we have to keep perspective.

In spite of all of our efforts we still must rely on the living God to meet every one of our (our own, our husband and children's) needs.  And His grace is sufficient.  Let us take time in this season to look into the face of Christ and see His loving eyes on us, desiring only that we would spend time sitting at His feet and learning of Him - in whom are all the treasures of wisdom and knowledge.
